Job Description

A Senior level SAP Sybase IQ Administrator/DBA with strong analytical and network skills.

The candidate should have multiple full life-cycle Sybase IQ deployment experiences.

Expected effort is about 16 hours design and configuration followed by up to another 16 hours for knowledge transfer to an internal resource.

Initial engagement will include cross-training and SDLC best practices configuration.

The candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to quickly configure a solution while working with other team members developing a data warehouse in an SAP Business Objects reporting environment.

Qualifications

Expected effort breakdown of the initial engagement will include:

- 30% System configuration and optimization including security and structure best practices.

- 30% Assist in the optimization of queries and ETL loads from source systems into new EDW.

- 30% Cross training and educating local resources for first level support and routine system monitoring.

- 10% Documentation and general support.
