Job description

Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity

A well established private practice, Palm West Heart and Vascular Care, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible interventional cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program located on the campus of HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the development and expansion of a comprehensive interventional cardiology program within a high-growth region of Palm Beach County.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
  • Participation in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and acute coronary syndrome care
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support evidence-based cardiovascular services
  • Participation in call coverage and hospital-based cardiovascular care

Program Development:

  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of a structured cardiovascular service line and structural program.
  • Involvement in clinical protocols, quality initiatives, and care pathway development
  • Participation in efforts to enhance access, reduce transfer rates, and expand procedural volumes

Practice Environment:

  • Office located on hospital campus to support integrated care delivery
