As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. This role requires ownership of the full software lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance, applying cloud-native principles to enhance system resilience and agility. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate across functions to translate complex requirements into effective solutions. What you'll do:

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
• Lead full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility and ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards.
• Build AI-driven applications integrating multi-step reasoning and automation features.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements and optimize development processes using data-driven practices.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
• Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, encompassing coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and applying design patterns for secure, maintainable, and modular solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML components and intelligent automation using languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
• Skilled in conducting system design reviews and driving engineering excellence through data-driven decision making and remedial action.
• Effective technical leadership and mentorship capabilities, fostering continuous learning and collaboration across teams.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11656: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
