Job Title: Senior Software QA Tester
Location: Washington, DC
Job Summary:-
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Tester to support the testing of a large-scale enterprise application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automated testing, test planning, defect management, and Agile software development. This role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
The successful candidate will participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment, ensuring application functionality, performance, and reliability meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications:-
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 8+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
  3. Strong experience with manual testing of enterprise software applications.
  4. Extensive experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  5. Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management.
  6. Experience with Micro Focus ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
  7. Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and database testing.
  8. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, ACCELQ, or equivalent.
  9. Experience testing REST APIs and integration services.
  10. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  11. Experience using version control systems such as Git or similar.
  12. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:-
  1. Experience with enterprise application testing.
  2. Knowledge of security testing principles.
  3. Experience with integration testing and API validation.
  4. Familiarity with UI/UX validation using Figma or Adobe XD.
  5. Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
