Job Summary:
Securiport LLC is a US company based in Reston, VA, specializing in designing and implementing advanced technological solutions for passenger biometric recognition and immigration processing. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for implementing and executing the quality assurance lifecycle for Securiport’s products, ensuring quality and functionality throughout the software lifecycle while collaborating with the QA Team and developers.
Responsibilities:
• Experience performing quality assurance activities across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and release.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, including test planning, test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.
• Experience testing thick-client (desktop) applications, web applications, and web services/APIs.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
• Ability to create and maintain clear end-user and administrator documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with automated testing at the unit, integration, and end-to-end levels; hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Ranorex is preferred.
• Experience using test management and ALM tools, such as Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) or OpenText ALM (formerly HP Quality Center).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. QA-related certifications are a plus.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Only local candidates will be considered.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, including test planning, test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.
