Who You Are:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Citian, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable software test automation frameworks that cover UI, API, and end-to-end workflows. You will work closely with developers, designers, and other technical staff to uphold high standards of software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, and modern CI/CD environments, along with the ability to drive improvements in testing strategy and tooling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing or intelligent test automation approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of features and early defect detection.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report issues to development teams.
  • Enhance test coverage by identifying critical scenarios and edge cases.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and quality improvements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
