Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities, Life-Cycle Engineering, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technical Trainer to deliver world-class Patriot training around the globe in support of operational warfighters and Patriot partners across the Air Defense Community.

The Patriot Communications Technical Instructor/Writer researches subject‑specific data—including engineering information, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports, and Missile Command Continuation Group reports—and organizes it for use in lesson plans. The role develops these plans for instruction and collaborates with Raytheon engineers and customer representatives to apply sound instructional design principles. The instructor is also responsible for delivering courses and administering examinations.

The Communications Technical Instructor/Writer will provide Patriot operations and maintenance instruction to U.S. and international customers across a variety of Patriot Communications configurations. During course preparation, the instructor will interface with engineers and other technical personnel to perform critical training task analyses and validate documentation.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Lawton, OK, with approximately 75% OCONUS and CONUS travel.

What You Will Do

  • Research subject-specific data, including engineering data, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports, and Missile Command Continuation Group reports.

  • Perform actions necessary to prepare this data for incorporation into lesson plans, and develop lesson plans for future instruction.

  • Provide operational Patriot instruction to U.S. and international customers on the Post Deployment Build software.

  • Travel domestically and internationally 50%–75% annually.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • Operational communications experience with Air Defense, Air Traffic Control, Air Operations, or Fire Control systems and communication nodes.

  • Must have completed one of the following U.S. Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training courses: 25U, 25F, 25N, 25Q, or 31R.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of communications operations, organizational maintenance, planning, and remove-and-replace techniques.

  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Experience as a Patriot System Communications instructor and in developing training lesson plans.

  • Knowledge of ICC and Fire Unit Communications operations.

  • Graduate of the Signal Digital Master Gunner program.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
