As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Retail Tech Core Debit Product organization, you will be based in Dallas TX, Pittsburgh PA or Strongsville OH.
A Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains scalable software applications and systems. This role provides technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborates with cross-functional teams to define requirements and solutions, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure products. Senior Software Engineers mentor junior developers, drive best practices in coding and architecture, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to strategic technology decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong programming skills, experience with modern software development methodologies, and the ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Lead technical design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Write, review, and optimize high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and best

Base Salary: $86,250.00 - $158,125.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
