Senior Software Engineer

Azara Healthcare is seeking a senior software engineer with a high attention to detail and a passion for creating high performing applications. You will work on designing, implementing, and improving our data warehouse / business intelligence platform. The suite of products produced by the software team includes web applications using the MVVM design pattern and ASP.NET Core applications leveraging a variety SQL Server, Web API and other Microsoft technologies. All work is done in a team setting with a focus on team accountability and success. Understanding the technical and business “why” behind solutions is an important attribute of an Azara Team Member.

This is an opportunity to be part of the healthcare industry’s rapid transformation as we work with our clients to identify and address real opportunities for improvement in cost and healthcare quality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design information architectures and workflows.
  • Develop new functionality and large enhancements to our existing application, throughout the entire technology stack.
  • Create new interfaces to allow data to be securely transferred in and out of our system.
  • Evaluate new tools / frameworks to use within our platform.
  • Participate as a team member in planning sprints, software design, developing and testing features.
  • Provide feedback to colleagues through code reviews and design collaboration.
  • Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders on new software features and designs.
  • Research and present new technologies to the software development team.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficient in C# and the .Net framework
  • Database principles, processes, technologies, and tools (data modeling, design)
  • ASP.NET Core
  • Web API
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure or AWS is required
  • Entity Framework and Dapper
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Agile development techniques
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in technology or technology related field.
Education & Relevant Experience
  • BS/BA in Computer science, information systems, or other technology/science degree.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Final offers for this position will be based upon several factors including the scope of the role, market compensation analysis, position requirements, candidate’s experience level and capabilities, specific candidate geographic location, internal pay equity considerations and will be made within the parameters of Azara Healthcare’s compensation framework and philosophy.
