Position Summary

Marotta Controls isseekingaSoftwareEngineer to support the development ofAutomated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. Theapplicantshould have a background inSoftwareEngineering withexperience in embedded software developmentand/orhardware (equipment)automation.

Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of System Requirements Documentation andprovide support through the development lifecycle(PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding).
  • Develop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans).
  • Design and Implement High Level GUIWindows Applications in C#using Visual Studio IDE. Database Backend (MS SQL, SQLite,etc.) experience is a plus.
  • Designand implementfirmwareinCusingTI’s Code Composer.
  • Experience with LabView (Real Time and LabView FPGA is a plus)
  • Able to use and programvarious laboratory equipment (e.power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)used toautomate testing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems anddetermineroot cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
  • Work with outside vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in ElectricalEngineering, Software Engineering,or similarisrequired
  • Experience designing test systemsutilizinga Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
  • Must be a US Citizen

This position is at our Parsippany NJ office location.

Pay Range

$137,000- $150,000 per year
