About the role:

The Senior Security Specialist/Program Manager (SSS/PM) supports the FBI Office of Technology Division by overseeing access control and security support activities, coordinating staffing and schedules, training personnel, and providing Communications Security (COMSEC) assistance in accordance with applicable FBI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Train Access Control Specialists in the duties identified in Section 3.3 of the Statement of Work.
  • Maintain knowledge of and proficiency in all Access Control Specialist and Security Specialist duties identified in the Statement of Work.
  • Provide support in any contractor role when an employee is out of the office.
  • Coordinate schedules and resources to maintain cleared access control staffing at all visitor desks during business hours.
  • Ensure a cleared access control presence is maintained at the designated visitor desks during working hours.
  • Assist the COMSEC Manager with transferring, receiving, and hand-receipting COMSEC material for OTD to and from the FBI COR and other locations.
  • Assist with the biannual COMSEC inventory, shipment of COMSEC items, and completion and filing of required paperwork.
  • Implement the policies and procedures outlined in the FBI Central Office of Record COMSEC Manual.
  • Provide required briefings and debriefings.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee program activities, including schedules, deliverables, and resources.
  • Perform all assigned duties professionally and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must possess a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special access.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field and at least three (3) years of security experience in relevant areas such as industrial security, physical security, or computer/network security; or at least five (5) years of experience in any security-related field.
  • Must be skilled in creating complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel or comparable software.
  • Must be skilled in preparing briefings using Microsoft PowerPoint or comparable software.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must have experience in program planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Must have the ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and resources efficiently.
