Job description

Job Summary (Senior Security Analyst - SharkNinja, Needham, MA):
- Senior-level cybersecurity role responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats in a global environment.
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security posture and improve security operations.
- Conduct daily monitoring and investigation of security alerts and incidents.
- Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and manage/tune security tools (SIEM, EDR).
- Lead/support incident response from detection through resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance security controls and processes.
- Utilize and investigate complex security tools such as SentinelOne EDR (must have), Google SecOps SIEM (preferred), AWS/WIZ for Cloud Security, Zscaler, and Proofpoint.
- Perform advanced threat hunting, root cause analysis, and threat correlation using both open-source and paid threat intelligence.
- Apply knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Utilize scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation and investigation tasks.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incident investigations (focus on L2/L3 analyst responsibilities).
- Prefer candidates with 5+ years SOC experience and relevant security certifications.
