The Senior Security Operations Analyst monitors, detects, and responds to cybersecurity threats to protect the National Indian Gaming Commission's systems, networks, and sensitive data.   • A Bachelor's degree and/or relevantcertifications (Security+, CASP+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, SC-100/200, AZ-500,etc.).
  • A minimum 6 years of continuous experience insecurity operations or security analysis.
  • Experience performing security monitoring, loganalysis, threat detection, continuous monitoring, and proactive threat hunting.
  • Hands-on experience with security analysis toolsand reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting incident responseactivities and incident handling procedures.
  • Ability to develop reporting checklists,detection policies, and automation improvements.
  • Ability to analyze and report on securityposture and metrics.
  • Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision.
  • Must meet Public Trust clearance and federalcompliance requirements.
