Registered Dietitian
Mauston, WI | Permanent | Full-Time | Normal Urgency

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (80 hours per pay period)
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: None

Position Summary
Join our Health Sciences / Nutrition Services team as a Registered Dietitian in Mauston, WI. Deliver nutrition assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and education to inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care patients. New grads encouraged to apply—no weekends required!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy to inpatient and long-term care patients

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and counsel patients and families on nutrition needs

  • Participate in nutrition risk programs, diabetes committee, and care-planning committees

  • Provide outpatient nutrition counseling and education

  • Teach heart-healthy nutrition classes for Cardiac Rehab patients

  • Support dialysis clinics by reviewing labs, providing nutrition counseling, and coordinating with nephrology teams

  • Monitor regulatory nutrition measures and participate in quality meetings

  • Precept dietetic interns as assigned

  • Maintain dietetic registration and licensure requirements

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited program

  • Completion of ACEND-accredited supervised practice program

  • Successful completion and maintenance of CDR national registration

  • Active Wisconsin Certified Dietitian license

  • Valid driver’s license

  • 1 year or less of related experience required (new grads encouraged)

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including EMRs and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to assess and interpret laboratory values

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
