Job Description Summary

The Sr. Salesforce Developer provides senior-level, in-house development capability for the global Salesforce platform, augmenting the Managed Services (AMS) delivery model. This role is responsible for designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions, performing code reviews, and ensuring development quality and adherence to platform and architectural standards. The Sr. Developer partners closely with Delivery Managers, Tech Leads, Functional Consultants, and AMS teams to enable scalable, high-quality delivery.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Â
  • Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative toolsÂ

  • Lead and perform code reviews for internal and AMS-delivered development to ensure quality, security, and maintainabilityÂ

  • Own development of higher-complexity enhancements, integrations, and custom componentsÂ

  • Partner with Tech Leads/Solution Architects to align development with platform standards and architectural patternsÂ

  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by providing technical input, estimates, and feasibility guidanceÂ

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical defects and performance issuesÂ

  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, data protection, and compliance requirementsÂ

  • Contribute to development standards, reusable components, and technical documentationÂ

  • Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing as neededÂ

  • Assist with release preparation, deployment activities, and postâ€"go-live stabilizationÂ

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the broader delivery teamÂ

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experienceÂ

  • 6+Â years of Salesforce development experience in enterprise environmentsÂ

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce (as applicable), and Salesforce APIsÂ

  • Experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware toolsÂ

  • Demonstrated experience performing code reviews and enforcing development standardsÂ

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environmentsÂ

  • Experience collaborating with AMS or external delivery providersÂ

  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred, including:Â

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)Â

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)Â
