Job description

We"re more than a technology company, we"re a force for good in financial services. We"re redefining how community banks and credit unions connect with the people they serve. Our mission is rooted in people inspired innovation, empowering financial institutions to deliver seamless, secure, and human centered experiences. We deliver cutting-edge solutions that are paving the way for the next generation of digital banking and payments, but our true impact begins with our associates. If you're ready to help transform an industry and grow with a company that values purpose, collaboration, and excellence then we"d love to meet you.
This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for executing operational improvements and the Salesforce product roadmap. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of developers, administrators, release engineers, and architects within a complex, regulated enterprise environment.
As this is a hands-on technical role, a developer background is preferred. We are looking for a leader who has grown through the Salesforce ecosystem, understands how metadata-driven architecture behaves at scale, and maintains a "roll up the sleeves" mindset. You will step into a high-velocity environment to stabilize delivery operations, improve CI/CD pipelines, and replace legacy CRM systems across the organization.
This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship and support. Please do not apply if at any time you will need immigration support now or in the future (i.e., H-1B, PERM). All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.
What you"ll be responsible for:
Product Roadmap & Engineering Ownership
Execution: Deliver the Salesforce roadmap, translating priorities into sprint-level delivery across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Readiness: Review user stories for design readiness, dependencies, and system impacts prior to development.
Pipeline Governance: Own the health of the CI/CD pipeline, monitoring code coverage and driving continuous improvement.
Platform Health: Actively monitor API limits, governor limits, and platform maintenance windows to protect deployment stability.
Technical Governance & Architecture
Integrity: Apply deep knowledge of metadata-driven architecture and platform constraints to prevent technical debt and guide design decisions.
Partnership: Align with Enterprise Architect and Identity teams on integrations involving MuleSoft, ServiceNow, and identity federation.
Compliance: Establish and enforce Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including security, performance, and regulatory standards for financial services.
Release Management: Manage the three annual Salesforce platform releases with a structured framework for impact assessment and team preparation.
Leadership & Operations
Team Development: Conduct regular 1-on-1s and invest in the growth of your technical staff. Model technical engagement by contributing to architecture and code reviews.
Communication: Bridge the gap between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders, including product owners and executive leadership.
Incident Response: Own production incident coordination, including escalation paths and post-incident documentation.
Fiscal Management: Contribute to FY budget planning, including CapEx/OpEx classification, forecasting, and maintenance renewals.
Product Roadmap & Engineering Ownership
Execution: Deliver the Salesforce roadmap, translating priorities into sprint-level delivery across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you"ll need to have:
* A minimum of 7 years of technical leadership experience in software engineering.
* A minimum of 3 years of formal people leadership experience, managing a team of direct reports.
* A minimum of 3 years" experience configuring/developing or implementing Salesforce Service Cloud.
* A minimum of 2 years" experience configuring Salesforce Experience Cloud.
* A minimum of 3 years" experience of hands-on execution of Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and release management (Copado and Git experience strongly preferred)
* Must be comfortable with source format deployments, automated testing pipelines, and platform integrations.
* Must have at least one active, Salesforce certification
* Must be able and willing to travel 10-20% for quarterly PI Planning, IT leadership meetings, and annual conferences.
What would be nice for you to have:

Experience with AgentForce or AI-driven automation within Salesforce.
Familiarity with integration patterns involving MuleSoft or Identity platforms (Okta, ADFS).
An active Salesforce Trailhead profile demonstrating continuous learning and community engagement.

Experience in complex, regulated environments (Financial Services preferred) with strict security and data governance requirements.
