Senior Infor XA Consultant (RPG Development)

Experience: 10-15+ Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infor XA Consultant with strong RPG development expertise to support and enhance ERP landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Infor XA (MAPICS) on IBM iSeries/AS400 platforms, strong RPG development skills, and a solid understanding of manufacturing business processes.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to support enhancements, integrations, custom development, troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives across the ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Infor XA Support & Enhancements

  • Support and enhance Infor XA ERP modules.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy enhancements within the XA environment.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, patching, and system improvements.

RPG Development

  • Develop and maintain applications using:
  • RPG III / RPG IV
  • RPGLE
  • Free Format RPG
  • CL Programming
  • SQLRPGLE
  • Create and enhance batch jobs, reports, interfaces, and custom applications.
  • Optimize existing code for performance and maintainability.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure development standards are followed.

Business Process Support

  • Collaborate with business users across:
