Overview
In office and Work @ Home available. Must live in one of the following states: AZ, CA, HI, ID, IA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NM, OR, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, & WA.
The pay range for this position is roughly $76K to $98K per year, depending on experience.
Responsible for the creation, administration, and maintenance of ongoing data sources, lending and sales department performance and analysis related to sales and lending compensation, ancillary performance, profitability, efficiencies, workflows, trending, growth, and outcomes. Engineer the compilation and distribution of reports. Responsible for the research, analysis, and support of Sales and Lending projects across multiple departments including Inbound and Outbound Sales, Consumer Underwriting, Indirect Underwriting and Funding, Loan Processing, Home Equity, Consumer Collections, Loss Mitigation, and Commercial/SBA Underwriting.
Conducts research, analysis, projections, demographic profiling, and sales analysis related to lending, collections, loan processing, ancillary products and performance, underwriting, lead management, MS Dynamics (CRM), AFCU's lending platform for digital applications, and automated decisioning models and strategies.
Must analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes with an innovative approach to systems and technology. Coordination with vendors on project management, roadmap, implementation, and integration into AFCU systems and other third-party systems hosted by the credit union.
Investigates discrepancies in data and identifies key performance indicators related to key credit union strategies and requirements for success. Responsible for research and analysis directly
related to Credit Union sales and lending results, projections, goals, incentives, sales compensation, and other key sales and lending strategies. Acts as project coordinator on pertinent projects related in the lending division, including the collections division.
This role is responsible for the administration of compensation plans, including coordination and collaborative work with executive team members, senior management, accounting, compliance, and audit.
This role will also play a key role in the Credit Union's initiative in automated lending, including the development and collaboration of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) builds, and other automation efforts for the Lending Ecosystem.
Offers a collaborative work style, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility and partner with team members- both internally and externally, division leadership and end users. Aggregate large quantities of performance data into comprehensive reports. Analyze data from key reports and provide strategic recommendations to leadership teams and senior management.
Works with Analytics Information Management, Data Science, Branch Operations, Enterprise Applications, and other IT staff to support managerial and strategic business intelligence needs.
Responsibilities
1) Research sales and lending performance trends related to profitability, loan growth, loan and membership processing data, membership growth and trends, and other KPI's.
2) Study and interpret Lending & Collection Division and department trends and identify key indicators of performance shift and growth.
3) Create and administer scorecards and other performance artifacts to deliver to department and senior level staff.
4) Utilize multiple analytical sources to verify data integrity and performance.
5) Analyze sales and lending results related to Division goals and strategies.
6) Calculate and recommend sales and lending goals among several performance indicators to present to Executive, Senior, and Department staff.
7) Build and maintain processes through SQL Developer, RPA software, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Tableau, and other platforms to achieve efficiencies and automation.
8) Maintain, update, and administer changes to digital and employee-facing lending platform, related to loan and membership applications received and changes needed to accommodate automated decision engine lending strategies.
9) Act as project coordinator on assigned projects within product team structure.
10) Act as project team member and subject matter expert on projects related to Lending.
11) Work with frontline staff and back office departments to communicate sales and operational strategies; including compensation plan updates and changes.
12) Work with Underwriting and Indirect Lending to communicate and understand individual and department performance.
13) Work with Collections and Loss Mitigation to communicate and understand individual and department performance related to compensation.
14) Work with Mortgage and Home Equity to communicate and understand individual and department performance related to compensation.
15) Work with business and commercial lending to communicate individual and department performance.
16) Work independently and effectively with little supervision.
17) Attend, participate, and present in meetings, trainings, and committees.
18) Develop more efficient methods for goal setting and analysis, including methods for growth potential, branch and department strategies, and ROI analysis.
19) Maintains and answers questions for reporting and analysis needs of the organization, primarily to support sales needs.
20) Extracts operations, performance, statistical and other data from various information systems.
21) Uses various software applications such as desktop tools, spreadsheets, report writing software, statistical software, graphical presentation tools, and BI applications to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and reports.
22) Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately, and in compliance with Credit Union guidelines and policies.
23) Analysis and research on other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Training/Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, information technology, or business-related field.
• Additional education or certifications preferred.
• 3+ years in business intelligence, lending strategy, project management or agile project management is preferred.
Required Knowledge:
• Understanding of Credit Union operations, products and services, systems, and applications.
• Knowledge of Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL language.
• Knowledge of Project Management principles.
