Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Operator-Paint for our Byhalia, MS location. This position is scheduled for 6:00PM-6:30AM, with days off rotating on a 2-2-3 basis.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' Manufacturing Machine Operator experience
  • Experience in machine set-up and computers
  • Must have a good understanding of how equipment operates in order to clearthe equipment safely.
  • High mechanical aptitude with experience trouble shooting equipment.
  • The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.
  • Practical knowledge in a continuous flow automated manufacturing process.
  • Be a hands-on problem solver.
  • Experience in trouble shooting machine.
  • Experience in CNC Machine or mechanical background.

What you will be doing:

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain all machines including but not limited to surface paint, edge paint, edge sanding, lacquer coater and spray cabin.
  • Visual inspection of raw materials as entering the area and verification of quality leaving the area.
  • Set, adjust, and maintain process and machine settings.
  • Reports all the irregularities related to the work of subordinate devices to the supervisor.
  • Assists maintenance with maintenance jobs, as well as perform small maintenance tasks unsupervised.
