Job description

Job Title: Senior Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

This role leads a team of service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. The position focuses on supporting operations by troubleshooting complex issues, designing practical maintenance solutions, and managing technical projects that keep material handling and pneumatic systems running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Lead service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Support the Operations Maintenance team by diagnosing complex mechanical and robotics issues and implementing effective repair solutions.
  • Design and propose solutions for difficult maintenance problems to improve reliability, safety, and performance of equipment.
  • Manage maintenance and repair projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely execution and quality workmanship.
  • Install, maintain, and repair material handling equipment throughout the facility, including conveyors and related systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic systems used in automated packaging and distribution processes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, robotics, material handling, and pneumatic equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with operations and other technical teams to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous improvement.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and project work clearly and accurately for reference and compliance.
  • Train and mentor other maintenance technicians in best practices, safe work methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing material handling equipment within an industrial or distribution environment.
  • Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lead and guide service technicians in daily maintenance and repair activities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Experience supporting an Operations Maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage maintenance projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical documentation and maintenance instructions.
  • Strong focus on safety and adherence to established maintenance procedures.

Pay and Benefits
