JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE)

The first line Risk team within Commercial Bank is responsible for the governance and tactical execution of owning and managing risk, optimizing risk and return, and enabling sound growth with speed for the business. As part of this team, the Core Treasury Sr. Risk Analyst has responsibility to identifying and developing risk frameworks, implementing appropriately within the line of business, and maintaining oversight and reporting as required. This also includes understanding regulatory impacts, industry perspective and Key's own risk policies. The role requires an individual who demonstrates the ability to influence others, build meaningful relationships across the organization, act with a sense of urgency, and has solid communication skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage risk across several core treasury receivables and fraud products including coordination of content, synthesizing issues across products and help develop the next generation of product risk management.
  • Assist with internal and external audit, examination, regulatory inquiry and investigation requests for information. Also, assist in the evaluation of audit and examination findings, implementation of corrective action and needed responses.
  • Effectively partner with core treasury product managers to understand risks across the product spectrum and how to mitigate, manage and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Take the lead on client risk escalations, remediation, and future mitigation. Analyze and provide feedback and recommendations to Risk Management Leaders.
  • Help Support and enhance the governance of 1st LOD risk management through reporting, KPIs, benchmarking, and cross-functional product and risk forums.
  • Ability to identify process enhancements, including creating efficiencies and automation where possible as well as partner with analytics and technology teams to execute process improvements.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners throughout the organization including business development teams, operations, compliance, and other areas of risk.
  • Leverage peers to build understanding of risk framework throughout Commercial Bank.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management or related field, 5+ years of experience in leu of Bachelors Degree.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management, treasury management, or similar in financials services/ banking
  • Understanding of banking products, treasury or commercial product (Ex: Check) highly preferred
  • Base knowledge of commercial bank or business banking products

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
