Job Description – Senior Business Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 13+ years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical solutions by gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct requirement elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Use Cases, Gap Analysis, and Process Maps.
  • Perform business process modeling using BPMN, UML, workflow diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage requirements throughout the SDLC and ensure traceability using RTM.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct impact analysis, root cause analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Validate developed solutions against business requirements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and coordinating defect resolution.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate change management activities and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Work closely with data teams to define reporting and analytics requirements.
