About the Role:
Are you ready to contribute to mission critical national security work in a dynamic, highly complex System of Systems (SoS) environment? As a Software Systems Engineer at Fusion 2, Inc., you will lead performance assessments, interoperability analysis, and system evaluations across multi level security domains. You will collaborate closely with government stakeholders, engineers, program managers, and cross functional teams to guide technical decisions and deliver impactful solutions.

What You’ll Do:
• Drive System Performance: Analyze system capabilities, performance, and interoperability across a complex SoS environment.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with customers and technical teams to develop analytical frameworks that evaluate software system performance and ensure compatibility in secure architectures.
• Plan & Execute: Develop and manage detailed project schedules and POA&Ms, aligning activities with program milestones.
• Test & Verify: Create and review test scenarios, support test planning events, and assess system maturity through test readiness reviews.
• Document & Report: Assist in generating technical documents, interim reports, and maintain a structured filing system for critical artifacts.

• Support and advise government engineers in developing required software documentation.
• Evaluate and verify the completeness of software requirements, development programs, and procedures.

• Communication: Proven ability to develop clear, compelling technical reports and briefings; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Security: Direct experience supporting U.S. Navy weapons systems acquisition programs, including Special Access Programs.
