Job Description

The Senior Secondary Air System Design Engineer, Flow and Thermal Engineering will develop designs of World-Class Gas Turbine Systems considering operability, performance, durability and customer value in a team environment

Lead the development and analysis of gas turbine secondary air systems considering high performance, high reliability and cost competitive

Conceive ideas to solve secondary air system design problems

Conduct flow network design, thermal design by 1/2D analysis tools

Brush/labyrinth seals design, test, and data post process

Manage secondary air system in whole development period to meet overall product requirements

Evaluate & Develop predictions and methods to validate secondary air system performance

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 15 years of industrial experience with gas turbines

Minimum of 5 years of experience with Secondary Air Systems

Master's Degree in an Engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Axial thrust calculation

Excellent understanding of aerodynamics & heat transfer

Strong computer skills using MS Office, commercial 1D flow-solvers

Experience in reliability and risk analysis

Exposure to experimental methods in fluid dynamics, heat transfer and experimental data processing

Demonstrated ability in working in a cross-cultural team involving members from all across the globe
