About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to join our R&D team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and optimizing Manufacturing Engineering activities within the company. Plans, manages, and implements all aspects of the company's Manufacturing Engineering activities that are responsible for the stabilization and continuous improvement of current products along with the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures in support of a next generation device. The role ensures efficient production processes, compliance with FDA, related medical device ISO standards and other related regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Tackle complex problems requiring deep analysis of data and situations, balancing multiple factors to arrive at well-reasoned, high-impact solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to align priorities, address challenges, and drive coordinated outcomes.
  • Apply sound judgment within established practices to select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria, ensuring reliable and high-quality results.
  • Leverage statistical techniques to analyze data, drawing logical, evidence-based conclusions that inform decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Utilize tools such as Minitab, JMP, or similar platforms to support robust data analysis and reporting.
  • Apply working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software to support design considerations when needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively, maintaining organization and focus while meeting project timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment Maintenance teams, fostering accountability, growth, and strong team performance.
  • Support new product introduction and design for manufacturability initiatives, helping translate innovation into scalable, reliable production.
  • Lead cost reduction efforts with a disciplined approach that safeguards product quality, compliance, and overall value.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, encouraging collaboration, continuous learning, and thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving business and team objectives.
Qualifications

What you'll bring:

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical degree (i.e. physics or mathematics).

Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  • Experience with AAA/Peripheral catheters and interventional delivery systems is required.
  • Experience with FDA, ISO, GMP, and design control regulation.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $170,000/yr-$195,000/yr
  • 15% Discretionary bonus
  • Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
