Location is flexible and candidates will be considered from the Seattle, Los Angeles or San Francisco greater metro areas. FleishmanHillard's TRUE Global Intelligence practice serves as a strategic enabler to the broader organization by harnessing research and data-driven insights to achieve client business objectives. Our work within TRUE Global Intelligence integrates measurement, primary research and secondary research methods with advanced data analytics and strategic consulting.
This position will assist with analyzing and synthesizing data to provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations for the agency's clients and will be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in PR measurement.
This position will be fully embedded in an exciting, household name client monitoring brand reputation across corporate, consumer and issues workstreams. This person will actively track cultural trends - and should have a deep understanding of US culture - and signals for proactive media opportunities and activations while identifying emerging reputational and business risks from across the media ecosystem. The role will also contribute to performance measurement reporting and audience insight work. Responsibilities
  • Participate in integrated research and analytics assignments, which include social and traditional media monitoring, audience analysis, measurement, primary research and use of secondary methodologies.

  • Actively monitor online conversation around client brands to proactively identify issues, risks and opportunities

  • Analyze data, draft reports, and collaborate with team members to contribute findings to client discussions and presentations.

  • Manage the collection, cleaning, and synthesis of data from multiple sources.

  • Develop and report on KPIs, dashboards and scorecards.

  • Conduct secondary research and collaborate on research briefs to inform clients and communications teams on a variety of industries.

  • Recommend communications-centric solutions based on the research results.

  • Stay current with the latest measurement trends, as well as relevant industry trends.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to join us in a hybrid model of working in-person in the Los Angeleas, San Francisco, or Seattle office weekly.

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience working across a broad range of research categories and models; experience in secondary research. Preferably experience working in an advertising, digital, PR or research agency.

  • Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; able to translate findings into meaningful insights.

  • Ability to quickly spot patterns and surface actionable insights; separate signal from noise.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate insights to internal and external communications stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience writing boolean queries and using tools to analyze traditional and social media coverage, including Talkwalker, MuckRack, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.

  • Collaborative attitude, strong work ethic and ability to thrive and excel in a challenging fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, CoPilot, etc) as part of daily ways of working

The anticipated salary range for the Senior Research Analyst level is $54,000-$68,000.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
