Job description

The Advisory Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Business Transformation Senior Manager who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm's mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential.
The Senior Manager leads complex client engagements and transformation programs-from initial opportunity shaping through implementation and sustained value realization. You are accountable for executive relationships, engagement strategy, delivery quality, project economics, team performance, and measurable business outcomes. This role requires advanced consulting judgment, commercial leadership, and the ability to translate enterprise strategy into scalable transformation results.
This is the level where AI advisory becomes a core component of how you shape and deliver client solutions. You help executive leaders define where AI can create meaningful business value, where investment is not warranted, what risks must be managed, and what organizational capabilities are required to enable adoption. Anders' sprint-based delivery methodology-Diagnostic in Week 1, Sprint 1 in Weeks 2-4, Sprint 2 in Weeks 5-8-means you will lead rapid diagnostics, prioritize high-value opportunities, and guide teams in delivering measurable transformation outcomes.
What You'll Do:
Functional Operations
  • Lead complex transformation engagements from opportunity development through implementation-shaping objectives, defining success measures, establishing governance, managing risks, and aligning AI-enabled opportunities with client business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior stakeholders. Facilitate executive-level discussions, influence decision-making, and build long-term relationships grounded in credibility, business insight, and measurable value delivery.
  • Lead diagnosis of enterprise challenges across process, people, systems, structure, economics, strategy, data, and decision-making. Shape recommendations, business cases, operating models, and implementation roadmaps that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Advise clients on AI as a strategic capability and transformation accelerator. Define AI opportunity portfolios, evaluate business value and feasibility, connect use cases to measurable outcomes, and guide organizations through adoption, governance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Identify and address enterprise risks involving data quality, privacy, security, compliance, bias, hallucination, workflow disruption, and organizational readiness. Develop executive-level narratives that translate complex AI and transformation concepts into actionable business decisions.
  • Own engagement economics, delivery quality, staffing strategy, scope management, and profitability. Identify opportunities to expand client impact through additional solutions and advisory support.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and quality oversight to engagement teams. Develop consultants and analysts through structured problem solving, responsible AI practices, and delivery excellence. Create scalable methodologies, tools, templates, training materials, and intellectual capital that strengthen the practice.
  • Partner with Anders relationship leaders across tax, audit, and advisory to identify strategic client needs, develop integrated solutions, and expand the firm's transformation capabilities.

Success Measures
  • You lead complex, high-impact client engagements and earn trusted advisor status with senior client leaders.
  • You balance strategic vision with execution discipline-protecting quality, economics, scope, risk, and client trust while delivering measurable business results.
  • You guide clients through practical AI adoption by aligning technology opportunities with business strategy, operational realities, risk considerations, and sustainable value creation.
  • You elevate engagement teams through coaching, mentorship, and thought leadership while strengthening delivery capabilities across the practice.
  • You identify and develop opportunities that expand client relationships and contribute to the growth of Anders Business Transformation services and AI-enabled transformation offerings.

What We're Looking For:
  • 10-15 years of experience in management consulting, business transformation, process improvement, strategy, project management, finance transformation, operations, technology, analytics, or advisory leadership.
  • Proven experience leading complex client engagements, enterprise transformation initiatives, or cross-functional programs with significant executive visibility and organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape client strategy, develop business cases, manage engagement economics, and deliver measurable performance improvements.
  • Experience leading transformation efforts involving process improvement, operating model design, change management, AI-enabled improvement, automation, analytics, or technology implementation.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate complex decisions, and communicate recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Advanced coaching and quality review capability with a commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities that create additional client value.
  • Professional services or consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC), Prosci, CPA, CMA, MBA, analytics, automation, or AI-related credentials and methodologies preferred-especially experience applying TOC to identify system constraints, increase throughput, and drive enterprise-level performance improvement.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field required. MBA or Master's in Technology preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Project Management Certification preferred (CAPM, PMP)
  • Ongoing professional development through executive education programs, industry affiliations, or thought leadership engagement is highly valued.
