What will you do?
  • Execute assigned engineering project or program management tasks using established technical procedures, documented requirements, and Hershey standards.
  • Support moderately complex engineering, packaging, and manufacturing projects by evaluating options, validating recommendations, and helping deliver practical solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and business stakeholders to align on requirements, constraints, testing needs, validation activities, and troubleshooting support.
  • Help identify project dependencies, risks, and issues, then support follow-up actions to keep work moving and ensure concerns remain resolved.
  • Contribute to equipment optimization, reliability, efficiency, change-over improvement, waste reduction, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant.
  • Support capital project work, including feasibility assessments, cost estimates, equipment selection, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and training coordination.
  • Maintain clear engineering documentation, project records, and standard templates to support traceability, governance, integration, safety, and quality requirements.

Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant engineering, project management, program management, manufacturing, packaging, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting projects in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-speed automated manufacturing, food manufacturing, packaging, or a related technical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues, support root cause analysis, communicate across functions, and build relationships with internal partners, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent relevant engineering experience.
