B-52 CERP Air Vehicle Technical Integration Senior Leader

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking an experienced a B-52 CERP Air Vehicle Technical Integration Senior Leader to lead the B-52 CERP Air Vehicle Integration team. This position can be located in Everett, WA, Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Structures team and drive integration across multidisciplinary teams spanning Structures, Interiors & Payloads, Mechanical Systems, Wire Design & Installation, and Production Engineering. This position will oversee multiple Senior Project Engineers. The Sr. Manager will partner with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute structures SoW, air vehicle technical integration, certification strategies, safety, cost, and schedule objectives. The role demands a strong technical and leadership acumen, fostering a collaborative environment with a focus on safety, quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Air Vehicle technical Integration across teams
  • Supplier and A/C operations interface.
  • Serve as primary engineering technical interface with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams, and USAF customers
  • Establish Air Vehicle integration strategy with production engineering and operations for upcoming modification in San Antonio.
  • Guide technical integration across Air Vehicle disciplines ensuring alignment with technical requirements, certification and safety standards.
  • Develop and execute project plans, operational goals, and process improvements; manage supplier technical interactions
  • Lead staffing planning, talent development, performance management, and mentoring to build strong teams
  • Drive a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and open communication regarding safety, quality, and schedule concerns
  • Support Safety Review Board (SRB) activities and Engineering Change Package development
  • Monitor and manage cost and schedule performance via Earned Value Management
  • Champion adoption of digital engineering, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA, Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK.

This role may require up to 50% travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering roles
  • Minimum 3 years of formal experience leading engineering teams
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of aerospace industry experience in Mechanical, Structural, Payloads, Design, or Analysis engineering.
  • Experience with airplane structural design and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise with aerospace certification processes and standards.
  • Proficient in Boeing Common Non-Recurring Product Development (C-NRPD).
  • Exceptional communication skills, experienced in presenting to senior leadership, customers, and technical boards.
