The Sr. Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections to ensure construction activities meet technical and quality requirements.ย ย 

What You'll Do Here:ย ย ย ย 

  • Perform quality inspections and testing activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.ย 
  • Complete all associated records to document the status and results of performed inspections.ย 
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings for civil works.ย 
  • Verify that material meets Purchase Order, Code, Standards requirements.ย 
  • Initiate non-conformance reports when required.ย 
  • Identify and segregating nonconforming items.ย 
  • Collaborate in the development and maintenance of project specific procedures and work instructions.ย 
  • Collaborate with management for interface on Quality activities with internal or external organizations (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and others).ย 
  • Verify that calibrated equipment is used during the performance of inspection activities.ย 
  • Support with the preparation of History File or History Docket.ย 
  • Promote safety awareness including adhering to safety rules and requirements.ย 
  • Other activities as required by Management.ย 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent. A combination of education and industry experience will also be considered.ย 
  • 5 - 7 years' experience in heavy civil and/or infrastructure construction.
  • Experience working on Major Projects is considered an asset.ย 
  • Previous experience with inspection and testing of concrete.ย 
  • Working knowledge on the CSA A23.1, CSA A23.2, CSA N291 and CSA N287 standards and other applicable building regulations.ย 
  • Working knowledge on the CSA W47.1 and CSA W59 standards.ย 
  • ACI/CCIL certification (preferred)ย 
  • CSA W178 Level 1 or 2 Visual Welding Inspection (preferred).ย 
  • Self-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.ย 
  • Proficiently with MS Office Suite.ย 
  • Understands design and construction requirements.ย 
  • Strong coordination and organization skills, with strict emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.ย 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organization departments, Alliance partners, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.ย

Pay Range: $90,000-$115,000

Individual pay isย determinedย based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, uniqueย skillsย and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.ย
