Job Description

Turner & Townsend are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA/QC Construction Project Manager to support and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on construction and renovation projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects meet established quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations while supporting overall project delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards 
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to verify quality, safety, and environmental compliance 
  • Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability 
  • Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking 
  • Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks 
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records 
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes 
  • Support project reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) related to quality metrics and construction progress 
  • Assist in managing project risks related to quality, safety, and compliance 
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates with stakeholders 
  • Review as-built documentation and assist in project closeout activities 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle 
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations 
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes 
  • Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices 
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 

Preferred Certifications 

  • OSHA 30 
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) 

Work Environment 

  • Primarily on-site role supporting active construction projects 
  • May require travel depending on project needs
