Discover your next career opportunity now! Position Overview: This position is for a Senior Platform Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a basic understanding of Kubernetes, AWS, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines. Candidates may be considered for sign on bonuses up to $35,000 consistent with skills and experience levels. We also offer generous relocation benefits for eligible candidates. This position is an on-site position located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Each ARKA location has wonderful attributes as described below. Required Qualifications: * BS in computer science or related engineering field
* 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual or remote teams
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters
* Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)
* Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)
* Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
* IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
* Active TS/SCI security clearance with fully adjudicated Full Scope polygraph
* Travel: 25% to Herndon, VA, when needed to support customer onsite
Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
* Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
* Experience delivering microservices in Kubernetes-based systems
* Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
