RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Atlanta, GA.
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Lead to drive the transformation from a hybrid manual and automated testing model to a modern, automation-first quality engineering practice. This role will provide technical leadership across enterprise applications, establish automation standards, and help define the long-term QA strategy. The ideal candidate has deep experience designing scalable automation frameworks, leading QA initiatives, and improving software quality across complex business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise test automation frameworks
* Drive adoption of automation-first testing practices to increase coverage and reduce reliance on manual testing
* Establish QA standards, best practices, and testing strategies across multiple applications and teams
* Develop and maintain automated UI, API, integration, functional, and regression test suites
* Support application modernization initiatives by implementing scalable, maintainable automation solutions
* Partner with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
* Lead offshore QA resources, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance across the organization
* Perform defect analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous process improvement activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation experience
* Expertise with Playwright, PyTest, Python, and TypeScript
* Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and test architecture
* Hands-on experience with UI, API, integration, functional, and regression testing
* Experience testing enterprise business applications and supporting systems across varying stages of the application lifecycle
* Strong understanding of defect management, root cause analysis, and software quality best practices
* Experience leading QA teams, mentoring engineers, and developing testing roadmaps
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
