We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for solving complex technical problems, and the ability to design and implement scalable, reliable systems. Responsibilities:
  • Write tests and document technical work products, including code, scripts, and processes, adhering to organizational standards and practices.
  • Solve technical problems and build components/libraries with far-reaching impact.
  • Deliver high-quality work and coach junior engineers on technical craftsmanship.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and lead the execution of action items to address them.
  • Design integrated systems that model organizational best practices, enabling teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability.
  • Oversee the management of technical debt in existing systems and drive opportunities to eliminate it within ongoing implementations.
  • Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges, guiding teams in implementing mitigating strategies.
  • Partner with the security organization to incorporate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
  • Master's degree in a related technical discipline (preferred).
  • Airline industry experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring/SpringBoot and front-end technologies like React and ExtJS.
