Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services is looking for a Sr. Developer and data engineer to manage risk management applications. As a Sr. Developer architect and delivery of modern webbased applications, enterprise data platforms, and AIenabled solutions. This role requires a handson technical resource with deep experience in Java and Python development, cloudnative web applications, largescale data engineering, and AI/ML capabilities on Databricks running on AWS

The VP will be responsible for shaping technology, ensuring engineering excellence, and delivering scalable, secure platforms that support analytics, automation, decisionmaking, and regulatory or businesscritical use cases

What you will be responsible for

As a Sr. developer and data engineer you will

  • Define data, and AI platform strategy spanning web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and AIenabled services.
  • Drive adoption of cloudnative, scalable architectures on AWS, leveraging Databricks as a core data and AI platform.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices across web, data, and AI domains.
  • Ensure all platforms align with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead design and evolution of webbased applications and services built using Java, Python, and modern web architectures.
  • Oversee development of RESTful APIs, microservices, and UIdriven applications integrated with enterprise data platforms.
  • Provide overall technical leadership for enterprisescale data engineering solutions.
  • Oversee design and optimization of batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks (Spark / PySpark) on AWS.
  • Lead the integration of AI/ML tools and techniques into web and data platforms.
  • Enable development of AIready datasets, feature engineering pipelines, and model inference capabilities.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $202,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
