Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Senior Realtime DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: Phoenix AZ
SALARY: Based on Experience
SPONSORSHIP: No
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement zero-downtime to accomplish highly available service (99.99%)
  • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) between different region Data centers
  • Automating build and rollout crosses global data centers
  • Cooperating with infrastructure, engineering team for security and service availability
  • Provide deep level of outage troubleshooting for systems and Zoom backend service, provide tier 3-4 support

Qualifications
Solid knowledge base:
  • Scripting languages such as Python, shell
  • Experience in automation the build of complex production software systems with ansible, Jenkins.
  • Experience as a Linux admin. In-depth knowledge of awk, sed, vi tools.
  • Experience with source code management tool like github or gitlab.
  • Good communication and training skills
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • BS degree in a related field, MS preferred

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with online conference technologies.
  • Experience with Linux OS and application security.
  • Experience with network operations.
  • Experience with monitoring platform like Zabbix, AWS Cloudwatch.
  • Experience with virtualization, such as VMware, KVM, docker.
  • Experience with AWS services, such as Route53, S3, etc.
  • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills. Well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
