Job Summary

The Software Developer (WSCE-JSE)-Senior develops and maintains advanced software solutions for modeling and simulation environments supporting training, testing, data analysis, and research activities. The role designs, develops, integrates, and enhances real-time simulation software using C, C++, and Python, while supporting DevOps workflows, distributed architectures, and network communications. Responsibilities include software integration, customer support, system demonstrations, performance optimization, code reviews, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable simulation capabilities. The position also develops multi-threaded applications, real-time communication interfaces, and future software enhancements while working within Agile and CI/CD development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications using C, C++, and Python.
