Senior AI Engineer - AI Lead (New Build Track)
W2 Contract
Dallas, TX / Remote
Mission: Own and deliver the end-to-end New Build (NB) agent system on Verizon's Vertex AI platform - from
implementation through production rollout and hypercare. Acts as the single technical owner for the NB track.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead build of the 6-agent system (Orchestrator, Site Design Supervisor, Atoll RF Design, Build Validation, FS Plot,
RFDS)
• Port and harden existing POC/demo into production using Vertex AI
• Implement automated learning loop (auto-classify, validate, human review, writeback)
• Co-own MCP servers and shared architecture to avoid divergence between NB vs MODS
• Support multi-regional cutover, hypercare, and platform enhancements
• Participate in regional tuning and SME discussions
Must-Have Skills
• 7+ years software engineering
• 3+ years in LLM/agent systems in production
• Hands-on with Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG, embeddings
• Experience building production AI agents
• Strong MCP/tool-calling architecture experience
• Multi-agent orchestration and workflow management
