Job description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who enjoys being hands on and accountable for all aspects of the financial department. This position is highly organized and committed to delivering a high level of quality and detail, in an efficient and timely manner, understanding our desire for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Adheres to company safety rules/policies.
  • Manage personnel including assistant controller and purchasing manager to ensure a detailed and prompt processing of all financial activity.
  • Effectively manage all accounts receivable and payable accounts to ensure on time payments, utilizing discounts to vendors.
  • Prepares weekly cash flow forecasts and lead cash flow solutions with management team.
  • Lead and prepare all financial statement packages to all exterior financial institutes, and all internal management teams.
  • Assess, analyze, and process all capital equipment requests including financial options, annual budgets, and return on investment analysis.
  • Effective manage investor and banking relationships to ensure compliance, including any borrowing base calculations and covenant requirements.
  • Leads and manage monthly financial statement reviews at the department and corporate level, including full understanding of any variances.
  • Lead all external and internal auditing processes, including physical inventory, weekly cycle counting, and external annual audits. Investigate and fully report on any variances.
  • Prepare with senior management annual costing rates and budgets.
  • Optimizes Epicor ERP system for planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Prior experience in job cost accounting, manufacturing environment or job costing models
Ideal Candidates:
  • Proactive work ethic to work well with meeting deadlines
  • Communicates well with all personnel and integrates within the corporation
  • Strong experience in Excel and Microsoft Office platforms for increased efficiency and automation of processes
  • Strong understanding how the position relates to achieving the company objectives and goals
