Job description

I. SUMMARY OF POSITION:Directly responsible for the implementation of the project execution plan and all project execution-related activities, including supporting the Project Manager in developing proposals, schedules, updates, and project reporting. Ensuring accurate calculations for rules of credit and earned value analysis for management and reporting. Provides the essential interface between all disciplines by furthering the inter-discipline coordination and works to maintain and update schedule and budget reporting.  II. RESPONSIBILITIES:Directs the development of proposals by assisting the Project Manager.Coordinates all project engineering activities, including setting priorities, budgeting, and schedulingMaintains the internal and external interface registers between the disciplines and the client Ensure that project status reports are updated distributed accordinglyTimely identifies any project conflicts, project schedule risks or slippages, and consequently develops a recovery plan· Identify and manage project changes, variances and corrective actions, as necessary and on timeAwareness, understanding and compliance with Polaris' business policies and proceduresAwareness, understanding and delivery of contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPI) outlined in the Polaris EPC Contracts and Execution StrategiesInterfacing and working directly with Project Controls to ensure accurate and continuous performance management of baseline schedules, progress measurement, forecasts and reporting for the various WBS Scopes of Work, and ensuring delivery of key contract KPI milestonesProactively facilitates the resolution of cross discipline technical issues.Knowledge of and adherence to Polaris' project management systems and procedures relevant to the roleSchedules and facilitates weekly project status meetingsSchedules and participates in the Process Hazards Analysis for projectsEnsures meeting minutes are taken and recordedDeveloping Requestion for Proposal (RFQ) and tracking for all major equipment purchased itemsDevelop Bid Tabs for equipmentFills in for the Project Manager when necessaryOther responsibilities as assigned   III.
