Construction Project Engineer - Relocation GTMO
Join the growing team at RQ Construction, LLC as a Full-Time Construction Project Engineer and put your Construction Management degree to work on real-world projects. This role provides a unique chance to be stationed onsite at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where you'll gain valuable, hands-on industry experience.
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, along with an extensive benefits package. While in Cuba, employees receive company-provided housing for themselves and their dependents, a company vehicle, covered utilities, quarterly company-paid trips back home, and eligibility for foreign income exclusion. Additional benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, a Health Savings Account, and Paid Time Off. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay.

Role Overview
In this role, you'll support commercial construction projects from start to finish while working closely with Project Management, Safety, Quality, and field teams. You'll help coordinate schedules, documentation, workflows, and project progress to keep work moving efficiently and to a high standard. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full construction process while working onsite at Guantanamo Bay.
Required knowledge and skills include
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required
  • Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Autodesk, BIM, Revit, Oracle)
  • LEED credential desirable
