This is an opportunity to work on multi- billion-dollar EPC projects within sectors like nuclear, oil & gas, and energy infrastructure, partnering closely with project managers to drive schedule performance, cost visibility, and project execution.

About the Role:

This role is heavily focused on advanced scheduling + cost controls within EPC environments. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting power generation or heavy industrial projects and understands how to integrate schedule, cost, and forecasting into a unified project controls function.

Youโ€™ll serve as a key partner to project leadership, helping ensure projects stay on track through data-driven insights, earned value analysis, and detailed schedule management.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Lead project scheduling efforts using Primavera P6, including development of Level 1โ€“3 schedules, logic ties, and resource loading
  • Perform integrated cost & schedule management, including earned value analysis (EVM), forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Support large-scale EPC projects across power generation, nuclear, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors
  • Develop and maintain WBS structures to track project scope, subcontractors, and procurement activities

  • Manage change orders, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments across upstream and downstream contracts
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, construction, procurement, and finance teams
  • Utilize tools such as SAP, EcoSys, SQL, and Power BI to manage and report on project data
  • Support preconstruction planning, estimating, and financial modeling as needed

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of Project Controls experience
  • Proven experience in heavy industrial, power generation, nuclear, or oil & gas environments
  • Strong background in project scheduling (Primavera P6) AND cost/financial management
  • Experience supporting EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects
  • Hands-on experience with earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Proficiency in SAP, EcoSys, SQL, and/or Power BI
  • Strong understanding of WBS structures, change management, and contract controls
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-value project environments with minimal oversight
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have (Strongly Preferred):

  • Experience supporting utility or power generation clients (e.g., transmission & distribution, nuclear facilities, generation plants)
  • Background that blends finance + scheduling (cost engineer, scheduler, or hybrid PC role)
  • Exposure to multi-billion dollar capital projects
  • Experience working in ownerโ€™s rep or EPC contractor environments

Why Join Us?

  • Work on high-impact energy & infrastructure projects shaping critical systems
  • 100% employee-owned company โ€” direct stake in company success
