Job description

A growing engineering and construction organization in the renewable energy sector is hiring a Project Control Specialist to support large-scale infrastructure and capital projects. This role offers strong visibility to leadership, hands-on ownership of project financials, and the opportunity to build and improve project controls processes. You'll work closely with Project Managers to drive forecasting accuracy, identify risks early, and ensure projects stay on track financially and operationally.

What you'll need:

  • 2–5 years of experience in project controls, cost controls, or project-based environments
  • Experience working closely with Project Managers (not just back-office reporting)
  • Strong background in cost tracking, forecasting, and project financial analysis
  • Exposure to earned value (EVM/EVMS) and/or project scheduling (P6 or similar)
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel

Nice to have:

  • Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or government projects
  • Familiarity with project tools like Primavera P6, Procore, or similar
  • Experience building dashboards or reporting (Power BI or similar)
