The Senior Project Engineer works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project. Ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Project Management Team can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which in turn will affect the number of responsibilities the Senior Project Engineer will be involved in.
Senior Project Engineer Required Qualifications:
      • 3+ Years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts.
      • 3+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
      • 2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
      • 2+ years expereince with project close out.
      • 1+ years working with cost control systems.
      • Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.
