Position Description:
CGI Federal Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Controls Analyst to support our NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) to independently monitor and analyze program status for various programs.
This role provides ongoing support in all areas of project control and business management, including performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Monitor and assess program status regularly, delivering real time insights and support.
. Provide comprehensive data management and analysis across all project control functions.
. Support performance measures, improvements, and business management strategies.
. Assist during the PPBE process and participate in resolving performance issues.
. Conduct complex evaluations of procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual matters, preparing reports and recommending solutions.
. Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines, develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related dictionaries, and determine Estimates At Completion (EAC).
. Demonstrate thorough understanding of financial policies relevant to project management.
. Prepare projections, analyze requirements, and perform detailed data analysis as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
BS/BA
15+ years of experience
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem solving abilities.
Project Management Software:
Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, and Microsoft Project
Agile Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. NASA experience preferred.
. Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
. Experience using software like Empower/wInisght, Cobra, SharePoint, and Excel are highly desired
. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $198,400.00.
