The company focuses on the end-to-end design, construction, and specialized maintenance of high-performance sports surfaces, athletic facilities, and related infrastructure to meet global performance, safety, and durability standards. Role Overview

This is a core leadership position responsible for directing end-to-end project delivery for sports facility and related infrastructure projects, from initial planning and scheduling through execution, site inspection, and final project closeout. Based out of the Oklahoma City, OK facility with hybrid flexibility, you will take full ownership of coordinating internal project teams, managing project budgets, handling complex logistics/expediting, and maintaining clear, data-driven communication with clients and vendors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of specialized sports facility and infrastructure projects from initial planning, baseline scheduling, and budgeting through to final closeout.
  • Expediting & Procurement: Direct continuous expediting activities to ensure all critical construction materials, specialized equipment, and contract services arrive on-site according to the project timeline.
  • Logistics & Site Coordination: Oversee complex logistics management, including the hands-on coordination of international or domestic shipping, receiving, and secure site deliveries to support multi-site operations.
  • Quality & Inspection Management: Organize and oversee rigorous field inspection processes to confirm total structural quality, field safety, and absolute compliance with project blueprints and regulatory benchmarks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, transparent, and timely communications with external clients, subcontractors, cross-functional internal teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement & Mentorship: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams, prepare regular executive status reports for senior management, and actively contribute to operational process improvements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Core Project Leadership: Demonstrated track record in construction or infrastructure project management, with advanced skills in engineering project plans, resource scheduling, and budget control.
  • Logistics & Expediting Expertise: Proven hands-on experience acting as an expeditor and managing complex supply chain logistics, material tracking, and site delivery operations.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Solid background handling field inspection standards to verify project compliance against blueprints, structural specifications, and industry safety regulations.
  • Multi-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize heavy workloads, and make data-driven decisions under tight time constraints.
  • Technical Software Literacy: High proficiency in dedicated project management software (e.g., MS Project or similar scheduling tools), spreadsheets, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical field experience).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on project management experience specifically within the sports facilities construction, specialized athletic surfacing, or related commercial civil infrastructure industries.
  • Active licensing or certifications as a Building Contractor or General Contractor.
  • Strong regional vendor and subcontractor management networks within the South-Central / Oklahoma construction market.
