Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior IT Programmer Analyst in Jupiter, FL.
Duties Include:
* Design, development, and deployment of data and analytics solutions to support nuclear operations and decision-making
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to understand data needs and develop effective solutions
* Implement data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes to ensure high-quality and accessible data
* Design and build strong foundational data pipelines for AI initiatives
* Experience with real-time and IOT data is a plus
* Experience with different data management efforts (Data quality, Data Governance, Retention, Privacy and Data Security
* Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
* Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new systems
* Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology
* Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
* Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
* Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems
* Designs, develops and tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and timeframes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
* Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes and data visualization tools - Power BI, etc.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
* Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to nuclear data management and security
* Expert knowledge with Oracle, Databricks, SQL-SQL, PostgreSQL
* Hands on knowledge on Power BI Architect, AWS DMS, Microsoft Co-pilot, Microsoft Studio
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and Google Cloud Platform) and their data services
* Familiarity with Open Search and Neo4J
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in the nuclear sector is a plus
* Knowledge in Gen AI is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
