Role: Power BI/SQL Developer/Programmer Analyst 

Location: CURRENTLY, this is a remote opportunity; however, in-office meetings may be required (for Texas candidates)

Visa: USC/GC/GC EAD

 

This contractor will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and updating existing Power BI dashboards.

 

This updating process will include development in Power BI, conducting testing, and ensuring successful production. Tools and environments include Analytics Middle Tier, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI software. As updates are completed within Power BI, the contractor will be responsible for sending deploy instructions to Information Technology (IT) when updated dashboards need to be moved into test and production environments. The contractor will also complete deployment and production review. The developer will participate in the requirements gathering process. Part of that process includes serving on a dashboard governance committee to provide feasibility and time estimates for updates to dashboards. Corresponding updates from the dashboard governance committee as well as departmentally required updates, will be made by the contractor.
