Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. The successful candidate will leverage previous construction or engineering management experience to lead Building Automation Controls, Fire Alarm, Security, and integrated systems installation projects of varying sizes. You will manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle while overseeing projects in commercial environments, including high-rise buildings, airports, and corporate campuses, as well as institutional and government facilities, including schools, hospitals, military installations, municipal buildings, and other federal, state, and local government sites, supporting both new construction and retrofit projects.
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Home and Building Technologies (HBT). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including mechanical, lighting, building envelope, solar, and other energy management upgrades.
As a Sr. Program Specialist (Sr. Project Manager ) - Building Technology you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the installation, as well as creating and managing project schedules, financial plans, staffing plans, project implementation and close-out documentation. You will report directly to our Program Manager and you'll work out of our Albuquerque, New Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources to meet program milestones and deadlines.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Communicate program status and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and tools.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 2 or more proven experience in program management with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive project success.
  • Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure program alignment.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent tools.
