Job description

Job Description OtterBase is working with a client who is looking for a Sr. Product Development Engineer to support the rapid growth of its aerospace programs. This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced product development engineer to take ownership of projects, work directly with customers, and help build a growing aerospace capability.

Responsibilities Lead product development projects from concept through launch Support high-velocity aerospace programs and new product development Conduct feasibility assessments, design reviews, and GD&T activities Interface directly with customers and support customer site visits as needed Own engineering workstreams and drive projects with minimal oversight Collaborate with manufacturing teams on assemblies and production processes Help develop and scale new aerospace capabilities Contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume engineering environment Qualifications 8+ years of product development engineering experience Strong experience with design reviews, feasibility assessments, and GD&T CAD experience with a strong understanding of assemblies and manufacturing processes Aluminum experience strongly preferred, including machining or general processing U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR requirements Aerospace experience preferred, but not required Familiarity with ITAR regulations Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter is a plus Experience with other metals, including steel and castings, will be considered #IND1.
